Spaichingen.Following a break of two years necessitated by the pandemic, the medium-sized enterprise Heppler CNC-Technik in Spaichingen once again marked a tradition of many years and, one week before the Christmas break, invited the workforce from Spaichingen and Kuder CNC-Technik IN Herrenberg (which belongs to the Heppler Group) to the municipal hall in Spaichingen. 2022 was rounded off together with an enormous buffet of culinary delights, the magician Eric Meiser, fun with a photo box, a DJ providing music and some great conversation. Employees of Heppler Montage-Technik in Bergkirchen, which also belongs to the Heppler Group, had already enjoyed a separate celebration earlier in Bergkirchen.

Managing Director Dieter Heppler, his wife Astrid and son Patrick expressed their heartfelt thanks to employees for the cooperation they had shown in 2022 as the year slowly came to a close. Astrid Heppler noted that, despite a turbulent year full of challenges, the Heppler Group managed to exceed its revenue target by 8 % in 2022. The strategy for the coming years envisages annual growth of 10 to 12 %. The focus in this respect is on enhancing capacities and efficiency, expanding automation in production and investing in new production technologies. Only through this approach can success at all three production locations in Spaichingen, Herrenberg and Bergkirchen be assured, and only through this strategy can Heppler assert itself as an attractive employer. Managing Director Dieter Heppler considered the motto for 2023 which is, in fact, based on a quotation from Henry Ford. “It is not the employer who pays the wages. Employers only handle the money. It is the product that pays the wages”. The production facility in Spaichingen needs to be expanded if all of this is to be achieved. November saw the ground breaking ceremony for the new construction of a production facility of 3600 square metres. Completion is planned for October 2023.

The highpoint of the celebration was an award ceremony honouring employees from Spaichingen and Herrenberg with long years of service. Patrick Labaj, Sven Laatsch, Andrea Welte, Gunnar Frommhold, Stephan Meßner, Fatih Sivritas and Carmen Bühler were all honoured for ten years of service. Employees with 15 years of service at Heppler were Viktor Anselm, Valeri Bonert, Alexander Hauser, Sergej Heer, Chris Pittelkow, Julian Seemann, Ronald Jeschke and Ünver Erkan. Johann Strecker and Ali Simsek were honoured for 20 years of loyal service, while Eric Lefebvre received an award for 25 years dedicated to the company.

As in recent years, Heppler once again marked the end of the year with a donation for social institutions. Payments of 3000 euro were donated to both the Dreifaltigkeitsberg Hospice in Spaichingen and the Kinderschutzbund child protection agency in Spaichingen.
